Rolls Royce Cullinan SUV
This is a 1:24 Scale Model, and I would have it as a fair to average model. It has definite highlights, but it has areas that really split it. First lets look at the Paintwork. Overall this really is of very good quality, not the best by any means considering others are not so good. It's the paint mix in that it tries to replicate a metallic finish, but does not standup to close inspection with being overdone in this regards.
Next the body work. Quality control. It cannot be stressed just how important quality control is so important. Here when you look at it from a distant, the overall impression is quite good, however on closer inspection, some body panels do not fit properly. The bonnet does not close tight as is should, with
also some gapes between the doors and body uneven. The rear tailgate does not open and close without difficulty. Exterior items are reasonable due to the scale, however the winged lady so indicative of the Rolls Royce brand is too chunky and does not give it that look one would expect.
The interior. The effect is cheap. It too plasticly in its presentation. There are better plastics available that give a more realistic look. But the dash and door woodgrain feature are on a balance good. Details of the consolidation and dashboard are good, with details of the instruments readable and small details like indicators and other small parts readable. However the cheap type plastic construction again distracts from the overall effect.
Overall. This is a model that we will include in the museum because it is an SUV that is available, though in real life expensive and few are made. More effort should have been spent on portraying this for what it is, a high end product that's worthy of the brand. Overall a model that is displayed to show the types of SUV's available, to be replaced when a better quality and build is available. Overall score 2.5/5.0.
