The Bentley Continental GT is a grand tourer manufactured and marketed by British automaker Bentley Motors since 2003. It was the first car released by Bentley under Volkswagen AGmanagement, after the company's acquisition in 1998, and the first Bentley to employ mass production manufacturing techniques.

Model Description
We have here a 1:18 scale model made in die-cast metal with plastic parts. This is a very heavy model due to the amount of metal that has gone into to produce it. Here we have this class of Bentley, a name famous since the part of the history of the automobile. Our model is that gleaming white colour of the body, with a hint of red to give a model of distinction. Body paintwork is absolutely flawless. In reality this colour was part of the colours that you were able to get if you could afford the price. Complete with the decal and badges, these give a very distinction of power & luxury that this brand would give to those who wanted something that would make a statement. All the opening parts fit and open and close wide to give a clear look around and inside every part of the model.
Open those doors and you see is black. A colour that in this case complements this car. But with the use of the red stitching that makes all of the difference to those leather parts, and yes real leather everywhere. The dash has all the dials that you need to drive this beast, and it was a very heavy car, you would have that gear shift that would unleash all that power under the bonnet. Even the foot controls, brake and accelerator are done with the metal design as with the original.Door panel are also black and again with that red stitching compliments the final details.
The engine is surprisingly very bland. There is a lack of colour and the detail is surprising and has a lack of detail. I would have thought that with such a premium brand like Bentley that more detail should have been designed a lot better. Overall this lets this very promising model down.
The boot actually opens. With a lot of models being produced with only an outline of the boot. While there is actually nothing in the boot, I just like those parts that are supposed to open, actually do. This gives the model a more realist look. Bentley is a brand known for a style that is , and makes a statement. A luxury brand that one whose ambition is to have something that stands out from the crowd. This is a collectable model that should be seen and not left in its box. Yes the engine could be better done. However, apart from this, it's a good model. I still would give it a 4.5/5.0.
