The W223 was unveiled on 2 September 2020. This generation will not feature a coupe or convertible model as they will instead be replaced by the next generation AMG GT and SL-Class models respectively. The interior of the new model includes up to five displays, AR Head Up Display and an ambient lighting system. Additionally, the W223 S-Class is the first car in the world to come with rear seat airbags that work by using gas to inflate supporting structures to deploy

Details.
This is the latest model for the Sports Cars & Luxury vehicles, and when one was unpacking this model, the first thing that was noticed was the fact it was well protected with tight material that ensured the model was well protected. This model has a delicate part in its Mercedes Benz Emblem, which would and could be damaged or broken with less strong packaging.
(Note) There is just one criticism about the method used to seal the doors, bonnet and trunk, which were sealed with small round stickers. There were a great deal of problems removing these stickers and as well, they left some residue on the body that was hard to remove.
The Body
What we see of the body is a well designed and made model. The paintwork is excellent with absolutely no defects in the paintwork in any part of the model. One of the areas that in a lot of models is ill fitting panels. In this model, all panels are fitted and have an excellent fit that allows all these parts to open and close and yet there is no excessive gaps anywhere. As well all 4 doors open wide and close with no overbite. The bonnet also opens and closes with the bonnet staying open with a good view of the motor. The boot/trunk also opens and closes with a good fit.
Interior
The excellent attention to detail continues with the interior. The door panel show the wood panels extremely well with details such as all the details of the controls. As well, it show just how much attention to detail when items such as the Mercedes Benz name has been added to a plate on the bottom of the door entrance. The seats are not hard plastic, but when touched gives the feeling of a soft cloth touch. This shows again how the model has been given that extra attention to detail. That woodwork extends all throughout the interior.All controls as well as the instrument panel display everything that the actual vehicle has. It also includes the information screen. The attention to detail extends right into the back passenger seating. All parts that are in our model correspond with the actual vehicle.
Engine Compartment
(Note) This part of the model is a little bit of a disappointment. The engine gives that fake look because of a lack of detail of major parts of the engine. Its all too plastic in nature with the only colour being the addition of a silver Mercedes emblem. There was the scope of adding colour to items such as the fluid containers that one would see on the real vehicle. Yes, by looking very closely at the engine you can make out some of the fine details, but overall this is a disappointment.
Overall in Conclusion
This is a very well presented model. Apart from the engine, the rest of the model displays a very well designed and assembled model Its appearance is that iit will display quite well and it will fit into any collection by itself or in a group where it will stand out. So I would not hesitate in recommending this as an excellent addition to any collectors collection. I have given it a 4.5/5.0. Robin Finlay 11/02/2023.
